Some elements of the lodge are tired, dog-eared and would benefit from attention. The view from certainly one of our windows (between our bed room/dressing area/bathroom we had 4) was of a roof area where sections of piping, a tarpaulin, and so on had been left by builders. Silk wallpaper in an upper hall was peeling, a curtain in our room was torn vertically on the leading edge and the piano’s foot pedals were thick with dust. On arrival there have been cigarette ends strewn on the gravel on the entrance door, a discarded apple core in one planter and nonetheless the case the next morning when pointed out to staff. It would have been helpful to have had a discover to run the new water as in the end suggested for 10 minutes to allow it to travel from its distant supply. We concluded that sizzling water had run out, not good for a 5-star hotel!

I assume the person reserving the rooms ought to be given the most effective one. I would not have been joyful if I had to keep in the first room that was given to me. It was stunning, gracious, and personal with a lot of area to roam. For this value level the house owners want to take a position some money into making the hotel spotless and high quality.

We didn’t eat within the restaurant so I can’t touch upon this. I at all times really feel motels like this generally attempt to be something they are not, however this isn’t the case here as it matches for each service and amenities. • We concluded that hot water had run out, not good for a 5-star lodge!
  • The most helpful contributions are detailed and assist others make higher decisions.
  • These are categorised as Deluxe Rooms, which are spacious and alluring and located in direction of the entrance of the house.
  • Fine dining choice in primary home was expensive with 2 youngsters at c£380 with drinks.
  • A lovely resort set in unbelievable surroundings.

Stayed in hilltop room – very comfortable, great view, scorching tub. The food was usually superb, with some of it being wonderful. Great location, offering lovely walks around the island and with heaps to do within the vicinity. The meals within the resort was wonderful and so tasty and worth it. The staff had been nice and the service was spot on. The room we had was extra like a suite and was very good.

Location

The restaurant employees had been friendly and educated. The meals was superb even for Michelin commonplace. Unfortunately the decor within the lodge was less than commonplace. There were several walls that were a mess, in want of a great lick of paint. Also the main body of it could be cleaner, the steps had been frequently soiled in want of vacuuming and there was a dead wasp on the landing window sill the entire time we had been there!

The largest room on the bottom floor is the restaurant, which combines a wood panelled main room that provides a surprisingly up to date feel with a brilliant and airy conservatory extension. At the height of luxurious, the Isle of Eriska Hotel stands on an enchanted non-public island, positioned on the west coast of Scotland. It is surrounded by beautiful expansive views of the Loch Linnhe and the majestic Morvern mountains.

Fine dining choice in major house was costly with 2 teenagers at c£380 with drinks. Went for spa restaurant option which was a riot. Short staffed, burger and fish and chips took seventy five minutes, only 2 different tables. Waiting employees were good however only one chef on and after 1 hour, advised us they couldn’t find any mussels to make one of our major courses. In the end, meal and drinks have been provided for free which was the best end result – but – for worth of stay for one evening it was not very good.
